There are lots of reasons why I have picked this brief, but the main ones are; I want to study for a degree in games design next year, ultimately I want to be a games designer and, unsurprisingly, given my last two reasons I have a deep interest in the games industry and the creation of games.
I already have some experience creating basic games because it has been a hobby of mine that has developed over the past few years. I have even got as far as collating a few followers on GameJolt after creating some games and sharing them on this site where I also have a profile that can be found at:

My Developer's Profile on this site reads:
"I am mad, not your standard mad of predictably stapling a cat to themselves, but a unique style of mad helped by the fact I am more up and down in my head than a kangeroo in a wishing well because he really wanted a space hopper.
I make lots of different styles of games and I can even code for 3D (somewhat) however, I enjoy the limitations of the 2D world so that's what I stick to. But what can I do in 2D? Platformers are my forte, but I enjoy making RPGs, Shooters, Topdown games, and right now one of my projects is something that I'm enjoying with the joy of an 8 year-old with a hammer and a cake and that is point and click adventures.
I started making games when my freind Tom (http://gamejolt.com/profile/tom-lyne/6783/) showed me a game he had built on his own with out using any sort of presets and that night I desided to buy gamemaker studio and now here I am less than a year later making games my own games.
My games all focus on Juxtaposing one aspect with another, for example my game Dr.Squishe PHD has simple graphics and gameplay but a surprisingly deep story that sadly due me not releasing the whole game at the moment you won't be able to see."
Unsurprisingly, given my love of 2D games, for my A2 main task my initial plan is to work in this medium...I may even develop my favourite game that I have been working on for a while, Dr.Quishe PHD, into something a bit more professional that the current draft edit that has received some positive feedback.
